During InnoTrans in Berlin, the Global Ukraine Rail Task Force launched this new donation campaign.

It funds two-week supervised stays in safer parts of Ukraine, giving children from Ukrainian railway families on the frontline a break from the war.

Speakers included Olena Bulavin and Liudmyla Holubovska from the Ukrainian railway trade union, as well as Oleg Yakovenko, Strategy Director at Ukrainian Railways and Prof. Gebhard Hafer, Chair of the Supervisory Board at Ukrainian Railways. Nick Brooks represented the Global Ukraine Rail Task Force, whilst Jan Strecker from WE AID and Henry Posner III, Chairman of Railroad Development Corporation (RDC) in the USA, also were speakers. Dr. Sigrid Nikutta, patron of this new childrens’ campaign, hosted the event.
